Abstract	Presenting Drive-thru Internet project, a novel approach towards deploying wireless LAN technologies well outside their intended area of application. Describing extensive measurements — with surprisingly excellent performance results even when travelling at high speeds on a German autobahn. Presenting some of these findings and introducing the Drive-thru architecture for Internet access in the presence of mobility and intermittent connectivity.
